Description Carl Inglis 2002-10-21 18:19:12 UTC
I know I've seen something about this problem before, but I can't seem to find
the reference to it anywhere (or I don't know how to search Bugzilla well enough).

If I let the client try to connect to euro.v29.distributed.net or
us.v29.distributed.net it says 'Net::failed to resolve name
"us.v29.distributed.net" error 2: No such file or directory' - however if I
resolve the address manually and pass the IP address it seems to connect fine
and get packets.

Ensure that you have the "host" command installed when running on Linux. See
this FAQ item: http://n0cgi.distributed.net/faq/index.cgi?file=43

Thanks Jeff, that's that one solved.
